True Colours have a training room dedicated to our dealers for our monthly training courses, and also for our dealers to use at no extra cost as a demonstration area to the end-user for the products that we represent. Sales and Marketing Support

Provision of Imagery

When working on your own marketing promotions and communication pieces you may find that you require product imagery or manufacturer logos.

If you are working on a piece of artwork that you intend to be printed, it is likely that you will require a 'high resolution' image file.

We have links to FTP download pages so you can browse and obtain the image you require. If you need such an image then please email info@true-colours.net  with the details of the image you require. If you require images for your web site then we can provide you with an image. All you need to do is 'right mouse click' on the image and choose the 'save as' option.

Specification sheets

On occasions you may find that you require product specification sheets. We supply the PDF electronic versions of these on our website. You can find them by simply searching for the product on the True Colours site. When you open up the product window you will see the PDF link. If is unavailable this may be due the product being very new or that the manufacturer has been unable to supply us with a copy so call your sales contact for assistance.

Reseller marketing service

Should you wish to launch your own targeted marketing activity then we may be able to help. First e-mail info@true-colours.net and we'll call you back to discuss your requirements further. The importance of effective marketing should not be underestimated.

Marketing development support

If you have a business case to put forward for requesting marketing support then we will gladly consider your request and take it to the manufacturer on your behalf. You will need to have clearly defined your objectives and the results you are expecting from the marketing activity. We will then let you know if it is an activity that we are able to support or if the manufacturer has funds available for you.

E-mail update service

Within this fast moving industry we want to help you to keep pace with price changes, current promotions, new products, manufacturer rebates and even the latest stock clearance list and more. To do this for you, in an efficient and effective manner we provide an e-mail update service that you can subscribe to. 

In addition to the weekly news update we inform you of vendor specific events, accreditation schemes and new product ranges through more detailed emails that you receive on an ad hoc basis as part of subscribing to the weekly news.

Instant Credit

New customers can start trading immediately with True Colours and obtain up to £5,000 instant credit on satisfactory completion of our simple Credit Account application process.

All we need is your fully completed credit application form, three relevant trade references and a copy of your official letterhead. We're happy that you fax them to our credit team initially and post the originals as soon as you can. So long as no adverse information is discovered during our routine credit check, our credit team will contact you with your account number and opening credit limit. It couldn't be easier!

In the early days you'll benefit from working with our New Business team who, as the name suggests, will handle your enquiries quickly and efficiently. As your business levels grow and your needs expand we can offer an experienced Account Manager to ensure that your specific business needs are met.

Range of payment options

To enable you to finance your purchases from us in the way that it suits you we accept payment by the following means:

• Credit accounts

We are happy to open a credit account for your company subject to satisfactory completion of our Credit Account application process and provide you with a credit limit for your purchases based on an assessment of your credit rating by our credit team and our credit insurers.

Our terms are payment within 30 days of the date of invoice. Statements are sent monthly to help you reconcile your invoices and queries are dealt with promptly by our experienced credit and customer services teams.

Product evaluation and on-site demonstrations

During the early phases of a new product's life-cycle it's often important for you, your sales teams and customers to get hands-on experience of its functionality and application. To meet this need we offer product evaluations and on-site demonstrations for you and on your behalf. Simply speak to your sales contact to find out availability of the product and/or demonstrator you're interested in and complete our evaluation request form as necessary. We prefer to work alongside your own staff and represent your organisation when demonstrating equipment.

Training and product positioning presentations

Delivery

Range of despatch/ delivery services

One of our functions is to provide the sort of delivery services needed to meet yours and your customers' expectations.

Over 95% of orders are despatched the same day for delivery to you or your customer on the following working day. An increasing percentage are despatched direct to your customers either under plain label or the delivery note can be customised with your company logo.

We are able to accept scheduled and call off orders in many circumstances to meet your planning or roll-out needs.

The following delivery services are available:

• Next day by 5:00pm(normal service)
• Before 9:00am
• Before 10:00am
• Before noon
• Saturday
• Before 10:00am
• Before noon
• Same day
• Bulk delivery
• Special delivery (e.g. Two-man, first floor or above, etc.)
• Collections from our Dudley Logistics centre

Please talk to your sales contact in the first instance for details of scheduled and call off orders or customised paperwork and non-standard deliveries.

ETA and proof of delivery information

Normal delivery service is before 5:00pm on the day following the day of despatch, so please allow for this when quoting your customers. If it is important that your goods arrive by a specific time, please arrange a special timed delivery when placing your order.

Customer services can provide you with estimated times of arrival (subject to the availability of information provided by our carriers) after 2:00pm for normal next day deliveries if necessary.

Signed proof of delivery data is available two days following the delivery.

On-line serial number tracking

Improve your cash flow by invoicing your customer or finance house at the earliest opportunity by using the serial numbers we make available on the products we have despatched to your customers.
