An All-In-One Multi-Channel, Multi-Format Live Video Switcher

The V-1600HD Live Video Switcher is ideal for any live event or installation that requires a high channel count and the ability to accept a variety of video input formats out of the box.

The V-1600HD switcher features a built-in preview monitor that provides a convenient monitoring solution when external monitors are not available or ideal.  The sixteen inputs provide connectivity to HD/SD-SDI, DVI-D/HDMI, RGB, Component, S-video, and composite formats – as well as still images assignable via USB memory.  The 14 mixing channels provide built-in scalers and frame syncs for worry-free seamless mixing regardless of the resolution or format.

The V-1600HD supports an incredible variety of system design and creative production options for live or fixed installation applications. Dual independent multi-format outputs provide a number of innovative multi-screen output options including the ability to SPAN the mixer output to two projectors with the ability to edge-blend the center. In AUX mode, the outputs can be set to different resolutions which is ideal for sending the program out to a record feed.

Example Configurations

Event Production
Various video sources can be mixed seamlessly without external video converters.

Studio Production
Text/Graphics from a PC/Mac can be composited on background video content.  HD outputs are available for display, recording, or broadcasting. In DSK mode, outputs are the same format.

Multi-Zoom
Using the thru out connectors, one video input can be daisy-chained to multiple inputs. The scaler for each input can zoom into any position in the video image enabling a virtual multi-camera environment. This gives the appearance that you have additional cameras.

Multi Screen Solutions

Two independent outputs enable powerful multi-screen video productions.
*In DUAL Mode, PinP, Key, DSK, External Control are not available. Video transitions available are CUT and Mix (Fade In/Out).

Multi-Screen with Edge Blending
Displays a single image across two screens. Edge Blending function enables seamless image across a wide screen.

DUAL Mode
Using the  DUAL Mode, two video inputs can be switched individually. Switching both inputs at same time is also possible. Preview monitoring of each output enables confident operation.

SPLIT Mode
Using SPLIT Mode, two video inputs can be displayed on one display. This is useful for comparing two videos on a single screen.

Multi-Viewer with Simple Matrix Switcher for Convenient Video Monitoring

The MVS-12 groups and displays up to 12 SD video signals to a single HD or RGB monitor. This multi-viewer is an ideal companion for the popular line of EDIROL SD video mixers such as the LVS-800 and V-8. The MVS-12 also features a built-in Matrix Switcher allowing any of the 12 video sources to be routed to four different outputs such as separate rooms, screens, or web-streaming devices.

Intuitive Operation
Quick setup and operation with a mouse. Rearrange screen structure with simple drag and drop motion. Select video source with a click of the mouse.

Matrix Switcher
Using the built-in Matrix Switcher function, 12 video sources are assignable to 4 different outputs. Use as a simple switcher

Multi-View
There are four layout patterns to choose from. Aspect ratios, background color and source names can be selected from the MENU.

Memory & Control
Four display setups can be saved and recalled from the 4 front panel memory buttons. In addition, the MVS-12 can be controlled from a PC via LAN or RS-232C.


Multi-Solutions
Multi-viewer and Matrix switcher function enables system expansion.

The MVS-12 is a perfect companion for the LVS-800 allowing you to preview all monitor outputs. Using a MIDI connection the PGM/PVM video source is displayed and indicated by a red frame and green frame (tally).

Video sources can be distributed to up to four different locations.

The Matrix Switcher function enables the V-1600HD mixer to access additional SD inputs. By connecting a MIDI cable and using the V-LINK function, the V-1600HD can directly select any video source from the MVS-12.
